THE ARMOR of GOD

(POEM)

Each day brings us challenges
We all can overcome,
If we put on God’s Armor
And step out in faith and love.
 
Our helmet of salvation
Speaks of our savior’s love.
Our breastplate of righteousness
Tell of our actions and words.
 
Forth with our shield of faith,
The enemy we can defeat.
Holding our sword of the Spirit,
God’s word we can proclaim.
 
Our belt of truth will be our defense,
As we wear it day by day.
Proclaiming the message we bring,
That our Savior lives within.
 
Stepping out with the gospel of peace,
Unmoved by the enemy’s threat.
We will bring comfort to all we encounter,
With whom we share God’s word.
